This unique pendant is made from Ceramic Dual Inline Packages (DIP) IC packaging. DIPs were invented by Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965 for the use in space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.
The DIP ceramic core is surrounded by metal which is used for its low resistance and chemical stability. A unique Integrated Circuit chip is mounted in the center of each pendant, making it a one of a kind piece.
The chip changes colors depending on the lighting!
The pendant comes with a 18 inch satin silk necklace, which has a 2 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp.
