This unique pin is made from Ceramic J-lead packages, which came into use in the early 1980s for space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.
The J-lead package has an ultra pure ceramic core and is surrounded by pure 99.9999% gold coded leads. It includes a custom diced real IC silicon chip in the center.
