This unique pendant is made from Ceramic Dual Inline (C-DIP) IC packaging. C-DIPs were invented by Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965 for the use in space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.
The C-DIP ceramic core is surrounded by 99.99999% gold plated metal which is used for its low resistance and chemical stability. A unique Integrated Circuit chip is mounted in the center of each pendant, making it a one of a kind piece.
The pendant comes with a 18 inch satin silk necklace, which has a 2 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp.
