This is a real production Photomask which has been used in the production of IC's. The mask is one layer of up to 100. The mask is made of ultra pure quartz. As et of production ready mask can range from $1 million to $50 million depending on the node size.
The mask comes to you in a custom 3D printed box which holds the mask, the backlit mask holder and power supply. The mask holder is also custom 3D printed with LED back lighting.
The pellicle which is a thin, transparent polymer film that is mounted a few millimeters above the surface of a photomask has been removed to allow better display of the mask.
