These Sydney Blue Earrings are made from Ceramic Dual Inline Package (C-DIP). C-DIP were invented by Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965 for the use in space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.
The C-DIP ceramic core is surrounded by 24K gold which is used for its low resistance and chemical stability.
The IC Chip is deep blue and has a fine underlying structure which can be seen clearly up close.
The earrings come with a 925 Gold hook, which is Hypo-allergenic.
