Large Ornament with Chip IC chip (Recycled from IC packaging and IC wafers)

This unique ornament is made from large ultra rare Ceramic Quad Flat Pack (CQFP) IC packaging. CQFPs were invented by Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965 for the use in space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.

The CQFP ceramic core is surrounded by a frame of thin 24K gold strips, which is used for its low resistance and chemical stability. Each ornament comes with a unique Integrated Circuit chip mounted in the center, making each ornament one of a kind.

The ornament comes with a 3 inch waxed cotton cord hanger.
