These unique earrings are made from Ceramic Quad Flat Pack (CQFP) IC packaging. CQFPs were invented by Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965 for the use in space and satellite applications, providing reliability and the ability to withstand very high temperatures.
The CQFP ceramic core is surrounded by 24K gold which is used for its low resistance and chemical stability.
The earrings come with a 925 Sterling Silver Hook, which is Hypo-allergenic and contains a unique IC chip in the center.
